What is Email?

An Email (Electronic Mail) is a way of sending a message to anyone, anywhere in the world, that has an Email account.There is no cost involved for sending an Email as there would be with traditional posting or snail mail as it's commonly referred to today.
The message is typed on the computer, you must be connected to the Internet before you can send it, and your message has the potential to reach the other side of the planet in literally minutes.
As mentioned, you don't pay anything to send this message. All you pay for is the time that you are online and connected to your ISP (Internet Service Provider). So whether you are about to send one message or 500, you are still only charged for the time it takes to send them.
